"The Fightin' 79th" CD-ROM Updates

I'm still wrestling with this personal matter (which I might add has become quite annoying and frustrating,) so I'm still only working on a limited schedule at least until the end of the week. None-the-less much new material is still coming in and I want to recognize the generous folks who are helping to preserve the history of the 79th Fighter Squadron...

I received a CD from Tom Skinner today that contained the gun camera footage from his grandfather, Kenneth Skinner's P-51. While there is no aerial combat included there are some excellent shots of trains and vehicles being strafed! Tom also included a copy of the orders that sent his granddad and nine other replacement pilots to the Fightin' 79th.

I also received an obituary for Walter Yarbrough from a nice couple in Pensacola, Florida named Carolyn & Curtis Reedy and Loic Lemarchand sent in several photos of Egon Mayer's gravesite.

Despite the encroachment of mundane life into my already limited time it still looks as though everything is still on schedule for a November release and I may start sending out copies for beta testing by September 15th.
