"The Fightin' 79th" CD-ROM Updates
Another sleepless night...
Things are still on schedule with the possible exception of the pre-release copy I mailed to Danny Morris has yet to arrive and I am starting to wonder if it has gotten lost somewhere over the Atlantic! Cross your fingers for me and pray it gets there in time.
The old autorun utility is also now gone and replaced with a much better one by Cody Knapp. Kudos to him for figuring everything out so quickly and making a program that runs so smoothly!
The total page count is now over 560 with many new inclusions coming from the microfilmed documents I have as well as more photos from Brad Wilcox. There is now a nice "Then and Now" section that is mainly made up of photos from Brad and Paul Young.
The master CD's go out to the manufacturer later this week and I'd imagine Nancy will have to tranquilize me to keep me from worrying about everything until the final product is in my sweaty little hands. I've decided that I will announce my next project about the time they do arrive since I will have the chance to make a few calls and test the waters a little bit.
Sales have been good so far and orders have come in from as close as up the road to as far away as France, the UK and Switzerland. I'm really anxious to hear what everyone thinks!
