"The Fightin' 79th" CD-ROM Updates
All I can say is "Thank God for Caffeine!"
Wow, I never imagined that the last few days before the CD goes off to the manufacturer would be THIS busy! First of all Prof. Roush came through with not just one or two new pieces of music to include, but SIX! Those have all now been added along with a couple of new wartime video clips and some new photos.
Prof. Roush has also run a few preliminary tests to see if the CD will work on Mac Computers and I am pleased to say that, while not everything functions perfectly, the bulk of the content can be viewed on a Mac and the movies can be viewed if the computer has Microsoft Windows Media Player for Macs installed.
The next few days will be spent checking everything over and making sure everything is the way it's supposed to be. The masters will be burned Thursday night and they will go off in the mail Friday morning. After the masters are on their way we'll be turning our attention to the marketing side of things; press releases, advertising, updating the site and so forth. I'll also be starting on a smaller, private spare-time project that will last through most of November.
