"The Fightin' 79th" CD-ROM Updates

The CD's arrived on the afternoon of Veteran's Day and for those who have already ordered they were shipped out on the morning of November 12th. A few have already arrived and early feedback has been good.

One error has already been spotted. In the virtual gallery for Lt. Thomas Pardoe I wrongly identified him as appearing in several photos on page three when in fact all but one were just photos from his collection. My apologies to the Pardoe family, who have been so helpful, and to all of you for not catching the mistake before it went to the presses. This will be rectified in all subsequent printings and a notice will be placed in with all remaining copies.

If any of you find any other errors or have any new information to add, please do not hesitate to contact me so I can make sure that everything is right. I expected a few errors would pop up and I figured that some new information would come along not long after I sent off the master CD - sure enough I was right on both accounts.

For those of you wondering about what the creation of the CD was like, be sure to check out the newly added PICTURES page for a glimpse of what I was doing over the past few weeks. I have also added several articles which have appeared about the CD in the PRESS section.

Also, for you overseas customers watch your e-mails for ordering instructions, everything is now in place!
