  "BOOTS" CD-ROM Released

Things have been hectic here at the old home office. Putting together a CD-ROM on such a tight deadline was a tougher task than I expected. None-the-less, I am proud to annouce that "Boots - The Life & Legacy of Margaret Hupp" is now finished and has been released. The CD's will start shipping out in the next few days. I must say it was a real pleasure getting to know Mrs. Hupp through her words and images and I hope everyone enjoys the CD as much as Nancy and I enjoyed compiling it.

Feedback on "The Fightin' 79th In World War II" continues to be good. Outside of a few typing and grammatical errors no errors of real note has been reported. I am also considering releasing an expanded and enhanced version sometime after my next two big projects are completed, as new material continues to arrive on an almost daily basis.

I would like to say a special thank you to both Gary Dixon, the son of Capt. Clyde Dixon, and long-time supporter Tom Skinner, the grandson of Lt. Ken Skinner for their recent submissions and Yvonne "Moofy" Barnett for helping to spread the word about the CD and for all of her support. It means a lot to me that so many people share my vision of helping to preserve some small part of history for future generations to learn from.

With the holidays upon us I have decided to take the rest of the year off from research and coding. The first week in January I will start fresh on my next project, “Conspicuous Gallantry – Mason County’s Medal of Honor Recipients” and I will be starting a new media campaign for the Fightin' 79th CD-ROM. Of course I will still be around for sales and techinical questions so don't hesitate to contact me via the website.

I wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy and Prosperous New Year!

Don't forget, we're taking orders now, just e-mail us for more information!
